    Build new system

I want to build my own system and have been looking at Komplett for components. Anyone know of any better suppliers?

    Thanks

You can buy a computer already built for cheaper than it will cost you to make one these days, but if your gonna build one I would shop around local computer stores and pick up the bits from there as they are easier to return if something goes wrong.

    I agree with y2
I have been building PCs for years and this year i found one on ebay for 300 quid i checked all the parts and found that i could not even buy the bits any cheaper so i paid 300 quid and have been more than happy with it.

    Re: Build new system

I have used komplett a few times and always been happy with their service.
tekheads.co.uk also has some good prices and Scansoft is also worth a look. Just in case you do decide you would like to build it yourself.
Generally speaking the advice given by DD and y2krog200 is good though, especially if it comes to problems and you need to return it. Watch out for cost cutting on an out of the box pc though. A favourit seems to be putting a 300 or 350 watt psu in them, which to my mind is not good enough for a modern machine. I suppose it depends what you want to do with it. If its just for emails, browsing the net and the like, you will pick something up cheap. If you want a gaming or multimedia rig you have complete control of what you want in it if you build it yourself. Plus the satisfaction of having done it yourself.
