    Cctv

    hi guys if this is the wrong area can a mod move it to appropiate place
    the past three weeks i seemed to be getting targeted with someone
    damaging the car and house so im looking for a good cctv set up
    what the best and cheapest way of going about it ive looked at the
    idea of using an old pc for recording the images but i dont know how
    big the hdd has to be, also been looking at camara on fleabay but i dont
    know if these any good some with built in ir lites and a range upto 15 meters
    i would be appricated any info about cctv set up

    Same here m8.

    Go to Maplin, get a PCI DVR card, on offer for ?59.00 I think. You can plug 4 cameras into it and set up motion record onto your PC, about 30 secs taks up 1 meg.
    Ebay a guy called digiflex-uk on ebay. get an outdoor colour day, night B/W camera 20m ranger for about ?50. Great quality cameras with extension lead.
    Records any movement onto your PC, but you can stream it to a web site for remote viewing.
