    Xbmc is worth a try. I'm running the latest version on an old laptop with Ubuntu on. Instal some add ons and the amount of content is mind blowing, very stable too.

    Went for the Tevii S480 works well and seems pretty stable. The bundled s/w was poor so have tried a few others - dvbviewer and dvbdream both work ok, the latter is good for plugins. Have you managed...

    Hi mate, I use a java based server which you can download here - http://ps3mediaserver.net/ it's easy to set up and works well even with a wireless connection. Hope this helps
