Get set for excitement overload tonight, as a new housemate will be going into the House. Overseen by Davina, a last-minute live lottery will decide the new housemate.
Tonight, all of the Golden Ticket winners will be outside the House, wearing a number. One housemate will be asked to select a lottery ball and the Golden Ticket winner who is wearing the corresponding number will become a Big Brother housemate.
It is the first time in Big Brother history that a member of the public will be chosen at random to enter the House. In the run up to Big Brother 7, a huge KitKat operation took place with special bars being distributed across the country.
One hundred Golden Tickets were placed inside the bars and people went crazy for them. One woman claims to have bought over 13,000 KitKats, and at one point over 20 tickets were for sale on Ebay with bids reaching up to £3,000. National newspapers even ran competitions to win tickets.
It's all over now though, and tonight one of the lucky ticket winners will be walking up the famous Big Brother steps to start their life as a fully-fledged housemate.
