PnP is on a distinguished road
Homeplugs

In another thread it was talked about these devices. I wanted to start a thread in another section so that I was not hjacking the original thread .

There was a very good comment made and one that I'd like to expand on:

Quote:
@ PnP not very secure though "Is HomePlug secure?

Yes it is preset with its own 56bit encryption system to protect your data."

only 56bit encryption

Unlike wireless, homeplugs or homeplug type things are only limited to the house that it's used in. Unless a determined hacker drilled through a wall and tapped into your homes earthing circuit then connected another homeplug and carried out a determined attack then I'd say it was very secure but not impossible to hack!

Broadband networking wireless routers, homeplug adapters, media streamers & storage
