Which external lanserver ?

I just bought a lanserver box for a 3.5 inch hard drive. It doesnt have any manufacturer identified. Works ok but makes an ungodly racket. Has anyone got one of these (ethernet and usb ports) and if so can you recommend it as being fairly quiet ?
