Vista x64 and Sony Walkman Problem I have used Vista x64 for quite a while now with no major problems. I installed a program called Sonic Stage, which is a music player capable of converting music files to the Attrac format and transferring them to a Walkman. A friend of mine has the A1200 and I have put lots of music on it for him.
Well Sonic Stage still works perfectly in my computer and I can rip cd's or copy files to it. As soon as I plug my friends Walkman into the usb port though I get a windows error message saying Sonic stage has crashed and send the info to Microsoft and shut down, or just shut down? This never used to happen and I can find no help from Sony.
I installed the latest version from the Sony site several times, but always the same problem.
Has anyone else had this or know of a workaround? My friend has a few "problems" shall we say and is very disappointed that I can no longer do this for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
