when i restart the pc i keep getting a windows message thingy saying there is an unknown device connected that windows doesnt recognise, and then the message dissapears after a few secs, and in device manager there isnt anything showing theres any problems or nuffin ?

i find it strange as i know my way round pc's like the back of my hand, but this is a new one to me, iam trying to suss out if its software or hardware related, but looking at it just now i would say its hardware or possibly even the operating system, hard to say though, all i know is all usb devices are fine.

anyone any ideas ?
