modem device on high definition on audio bus

Right i have a toshiba satellite laptop and used to have vista installed, i have installed windows royale on and keep getting the message that this driver is not installed.I have been on to the toshiba site and down loaded what i thought was the driver but no luck and i remember a little trick about uninstalling it and rebooting the laptop and letting windows find/install it no luck.My sound works fine so can you peeps please tell me what is it for and any idea were to find it ? i have googled it but i could`nt find it
