| Very strange one here... I was working on my PC, and took out the power supply and the heatsink/fan on the CPU. I put both back in intact, right way around, all cables correct, etc. As soon as I connected the power back again, both the power supply fan and the CPU fan started running. The PC isn't on, and won't power up from the on/off switch, but both fans are still running. I tried disconnecting & reconnecting power; leaving it disconnected for several hours, etc, but it's still the same. Anyone seen this before? I've never seen something like this where the fans are running even though the machine isn't powered on. Lucky I have the laptop at home so I can post in here! Any help would be most appreciated. |
