One fan, called Zed, vented his fury by calling for a boycott on an internet football forum. He said: "Someone had a look at sales in Scotland and pressed the panic button methinks. Still boycott them I say."
Another fan said: "As if their whole ad campaign to support England included Scotland's bid for the 2010 World Cup ... yeah, right. Anyone for deep fried Kit-Kat?"
