| Those of you, who know me, will know that my father died of a heart attack in the early hours of 4th July 2008. Aged just 64. This was the day before my wife and I where due to marry. What happened to my father really hit home how real heart attacks and heart disease really is. My father only suffered from diabetes, other than that he was, healthy, ate healthy (never touched junk food), hard working and very strong. However this heart attack came completely from nowhere, he’d never suffered from any heart problems in all his life. We were told that because of his diabetes he never got the warning signs until it was too late. On the 31st August 2008 I’ll be running in Nike Human Race 10K in London, from which I hope to raise a minimum of £500.00 for the British Heart Foundation. Hopefully this will be the start of many runs for BHF. Heart disease is very real and the British Heart Foundation needs our help. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me now! BHF Main events site - Stef's Fundraising Page
