Audi A4 Driver Information and Cruise Controll

I bought an Audi A4 1997 (2.8 30v V6 quattro)

Loving it its very fast, I just cant get my head around some of the gadgetry. The owners manual is missing, I have figured out most of it, but i cant figure out how to set the digital clock in the DIS display, or how to use the cruise control, it does have it, the seller demonstrated it working when i bought it, but i dont recall how he enabled it.

I onyl sem to have 3 buttons on the stem for the DIS , up, down, and reset.

Reset reboots the DIS and sewts average MPG etc to 0, up and down scrolls through the features, clock, average mpg, current mpg, and miles left in the tank, i thinkl theres a few more things but i cant remember what they are.

any help, anyone who can scan in an owners manual or anything ?
