i have a 99 306 1.6 petrol, when its cold and only when its cold it revs up to about 3k revs periodicly and randomly.

i have sprayed all electrical connections and and sure its not a bad conection

could be idle control valve but dont want to buy one if its not needed

Any help would be apresheated
