If you want to browse shared files on your network but dont want to set it all up there is a very easy way.

In internet explorer type in the ip of the computer you want to browse and put two of these \\ before it.

So if the ip is 192.168.0.3 you would put in \\192.168.0.3 in the address bar.

This will show all shared files on that computer and allow you to copy them and edit them (if you have enabled this).

In fact you can do this over the net to any computer that has shared files and is not behind a firewall or router (unless set up for this)...but slow over the net
