Grav monitored by Bhoys Celtic are reported to be monitoring Thomas Gravesen's situation at Real Madrid.
Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan is determined not to rest on his laurels, having brought the SPL title back to Parkhead, and feels his squad needs strengthening ahead of an assault on the UEFA Champions League.
With doubts surrounding Roy Keane's long term future in Glasgow, Strachan could be seeking some added steel and Gravesen is one of the best ball-winning midfielders in Europe.
Gravesen's situation at Real Madrid is shrouded in doubt, as he has never cemented a place since moving to the club from Everton in January 2005 and could be surplus to requirements.
Real are on the lookout for a new manager, but nothing is likely to be decided until after the presidential elections on July 2.
Gravesen is expected to sit tight until later in the summer to find out if he has a future at Real, but he could have a possible route out of the Santiago Bernabeu if Celtic firm up their interest. |
