This member is the original thread starter. Toshiba Tecra 9100 Recovery CD wanted.....

A long story short, I have a Tecra 9100 which my son screwed up with more viruses and trojans than Soft Mick by visiting pr0n sites... I have tried a vanilla re-install of XP Pro SP2 onto the machine, however I am stuck with the SD card reader not working as it says "Code 10 - the device cannot start".

I have checked the Device Manager and various devices including the SD Memory card use IRQ11, however I cannot change any of the IRQ settings as they are greyed out and most devices are using automatic settings that can't be changed to resolve the IRQ clash. Everything else is working apart from the sodding SD card reader.

Does Toshiba use a custom version of XP Pro on their recovery CDs? I didn't get the Recovery CD with this machine as it was second hand. I backed up all of the drivers onto CD before I formatted it so I thought restoring them was a doddle, how wrong I was...

Every SD card I put into it brings up drive E: but then it asks to format it when I try to access the card.

Is there anyone out there who has a Tecra 9000 series Recovery CD around who could help me out? My only other alternative is Fleabay or Toshiba themselves.
