This member is the original thread starter. universal wireless repeater

Did you know that its possible to make a universal wireless repeater with a network bridge and an access point?

very handy to know if you need it.

Connect the bridge wireless to a network

Connect network cable to access point

If your access point is also a router, make sure dhcp is disabled

Now if you connect your computer to your access point it will conect to the network through the bridge and thus creating a repeater.

I think you can expect to loose some connection speed using this method but its still very good.
