This member is the original thread starter. Question Ethernet Problem

hows it going everyone,

daft problem i hope, other day i thought i'd setup my router(wired)for something to do,connected everything up all working fine, till i noticed i'd put the wrong power supply on router,so took it off and put original on,then the router started to flash on & off at regular intervals( not like it should do).....

so took it all apart and hard wired my lappy direct to the modem through ether port now it wont work, just says limited connection....

now was wondering is it possible that i could of damaged my port on my lappy by putting the wrong supply on my router,it works fine on usb....

thx for looking
