I have just bought a VGA cable thinking that it was what i need to use my LCD tv as a moniter! i havnt opened it because as i was reading the manaul for the tv it says DVI input! now my question is can the VGA cable be used in this port also? the cable is a 15pin male and the laptop and tv are both Female! on the actuall tv it doesnt say DVI it just says PC. the guy in maplins said that it was a VGA cable i needed and didnt think to ask me was the TV a HD TV. can this VGA cable be used with my TV?i dont want to open it and try incase i need to get my money back it is a Samsung LE32R8 HD LCD TV. please help asap as i need to get this up and running before tomorrow afternoon lol! one more thing! the cable says digital and analogue display, i thought VGA was for analogue and DVI was for digital?? its Nikkai Pure connectivity date - mp3 - Digital & audalogue display analogue moniter lead
