sony vaio over heating problems

hi all i have had a sony vaio vgn fz11m for just under 12 months, today i noticed it getting hot meaning boiling hot the fan was still going etc, so i took it back to pc world, they advised me to ring sony as this is a hard ware problem? i said i cant be without my lappy at all i need it, just got a shrug of the shoulders from them.

So i got it back home i had a close look in the vents were the fan is situated and to my amazment it was completely full of dust etc got the hover place it over the vent and sucked it all out after 5 mins i could hear the fan wizzing round, so i put it to the test put on need for speed played it for 2hours the lappy was body tempeture !!!

what is wrong with these so called tech guys cant they fix or diog anything??

so if you have a vaio or any laptop look for the vent and get that hover out sucking all the crap out
