When working on doors cut a slot out of a 3-4' piece of 4x2 a little wider than the thickness of the door and about 1 and half inches deep.(in the middle)

Then cut a wedge.

sit the door in the slot and tap the wedge in to hold it tight.

it will hold the door nicely while you cut out the hinges ect

makes life a lot easier and you can keep it for any future doors you might hang!!!
