Sebo on his way to Gers RANGERS are on the brink of winning their fight to sign Slovakian hitman Filip Sebo.
Sebo is desperate to move to Ibrox and Austria Vienna chiefs last night admitted defeat in their battle to keep their star man.
The Ibrox side will have to fork out around £2million to land one of Paul Le Guen's top targets.
Sebo, 22, has been involved in a bitter row with the Austrian side after they refused his request to leave but after a poor start to the season it's obvious his heart lies in Glasgow.
And Vienna's general manager Markus Kraestschmer last night admitted the player is almost certain to hop on a plane to Glasgow next week.
He said: "Sadly for us Sebo wants a move and he said to me it would be a big dream to go to Rangers and that he will do everything he can to get there.
"I have to respect that and because he's given a lot to the club I won't destroy his dream.
"We have a massive game on Saturday against Red Bull Salzburg and we've asked Sebo to focus on that. Then at the beginning of next week something can happen because we will talk with Rangers."
Le Guen will be delighted at the news after failing to land Swede striker Johan Elmander.
