| Click this link to view video.......YouTube - Rockstar Scots Guards "FROM Scots Guards to rock stars...these are the hilarious scenes as brave soldiers film their own music video in Iraq. The squaddies stripped off and donned fancy dress outfits as they performed their own version of Nickelback's hit Rockstar. The 1st Battalion of the Scots Guards are used to planning with military precision and Operation Rockstar was no exception. Miming along to the lyrics, they stripped off uniforms, shaved their hair and donned skimpy dresses. One also poses as Elvis for the hilarious video, in which even a captain took part. More than 20,000 people have seen the video since it was posted on Youtube by a soldier calling himself Sniper7219. It was filmed at Basra airport during a six-month tour of Iraq. The Scots Guards are famed for protecting the Queen in their red tunics and black hats but this video is more bare skin than bearskin as two strip off, their modesty protected only by guitars. Last night, the Army said: "People think the Scots Guards are just there to protect the Queen's safety but this video shows them not only doing real soldiering in a real operational area but their great sense of humour. "Senior officers and a captain are seen in the video, which shows how much of a bond they all have." Half the Battalion served in Iraq from December while the rest were in Afghanistan" Keep up the good work guys! Thats a top class video! article taken from the Sunday mail newspaper Soldiers serving in Iraq serve up hilarious spoof music video - The Sunday Mail
