Unlike wireless, homeplugs or homeplug type things are only limited to the house that it's used in. Unless a determined hacker drilled through a wall and tapped into your homes earthing circuit then connected another homeplug and carried out a determined attack then I'd say it was very secure but not impossible to hack!
