hi

my uncle got a pc that has a pin protection on it.

he cant do nothing to the machine as the hard drive is pin protected. he cannot even access the bios menu.

he has tried disconnecting the drive and then switching on the pc. still asks for the pin number.

if he boots a disk instead of from hard drive, then it comes up that no drive is attached.

anyone got any idea as to whats going on and how to format it?
