This member is the original thread starter. redundant

i got news recently that i have been accepted for voluntary redundancy from my ex civil servant (we were privitised 7 years ago) post. although its voluntary it has come as a massive shock as never in a million years did i think i would get it. i have been there nearly 20 yrs and worked full time all my life. im planning to take a few months off (the tax man is not getting 40% of my wages in tax if i get a new job) as i have never been off more than 8 weeks in all the years i have worked.

everyone i meet at work says well done and wished it was them but my god im petrified!!

anyone got their own business in the glasgow area and looking for a fantastic admin worker??
