This member is the original thread starter. ASRock 775V88+ Advice

Have the above MB and the ticket for the proccessor says
Pentium 4 processor 531, LGA775 pkg
3 GHz 1MB L2-Cache, 800 MHz FSB

Says in the manual the cpu supports
Intel Pentium 4/Celeron processor (in 775-land LGA Pakage)

The 2 sticks of memory in it at the moment are.
elixir
512MB DDR-400 MHz-CL3
PC3200U-30330

In the manual it says
2x 184-pin DDR DIMM Slots
(Dual Channel A;DDR1,DDR3; Blue slots)
and
2x 184-pin DDR DIMM Slots
(Dual Channel B;DDR2,DDR4; Black slots)

Do i put them in the black slots as the things have been in one black and one blue slot ever since i bought the PC, never even noticed .
Thanks to pande and y2 for pointing this out.

Also it says it can support 4GB of memory would i have to get 4 new sticks or could i use the original two i have and add to them.
Here is the MB spec, is it a decent one?.
