Astra Mk5 HID/Xenons

Was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix the bulb warning light/flickering & shutting down of fitting aftermarket xenon kits to an Astra Mk5 (55 plate).

Bought the so called "computer controlled" kit, but still get the same problem, don't want to fork out anymore money on a kit that "might" work.

Also, would they work if the ECU was told that there is xenons fitted as "standard" so to speak so the current draw would not display the warning light/flickering & shutdown.
